We were honoured to have with us at the official inauguration of Aeka Biochemicals Pvt. Ltd. the Princess of Travancore HH Aswathi Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi, the founder of Terumo Penpol and former IAS officer Shri. C. Balagopal, the President of Kerala Startups Society and former CFO & Programme Coordinator of New Initiatives Technopark Shri. K. C. Chandrasekharan Nair, and Head of Process Engineering & Environmental Technology Division, CSIR-NIIST, Trivandrum, Dr. Ajit Haridas.
The lighting of the lamp at the inauguration ceremony, which took place on the evening of 3rd October, 2014, at the Chamber of Commerce Hall, Kowdiar, was done by Princess Aswathi Thirunal Gouri Lakshmi Bayi. All four of the guests of honour shared with us kind words of encouragement and advice. Aeka’s Chief Scientific Consultant and mentor, Dr. V. P. Potty blessed us with his presence and support at the inauguration ceremony. The function was well-attended, with the cream of Kerala’s business, scientific and entrepreneurial community very kindly setting aside some of their valuable time to join us at Aeka’s flagging-off.
